Andrew and Kristina met when they were ten years old. Little did they know that they were to be married 13 years later.
Fate first guided Andrew and Kristina’s paths together around the year 2000 when Andrew joined Kristina’s swim team, San Jose Aquatics. This simple swim team membership would be the start of something beautiful.
As Kristina and Andrew navigated the halls of middle school, they began to build a foundation strong enough to last lifetimes (through enormous text messaging bills and AOL instant messaging). In high school, fate once again brought them closer together in Mrs. Marshall’s freshmen year history class. Although Andrew can’t remember a single topic covered in that class, he can recall exact conversations he had with Kristina as he began to see her in a new light. They began dating soon after and stayed together all throughout high school and have all the prom pictures to prove it and phone bills to prove it!
Not even college could keep these two lovebirds apart for long as they could only bear to spend their freshmen years 500 miles apart. Once Kristina moved to San Diego, they began their lives as college sweet hearts and graduated together in 2012.
On August 3, 2012, Andrew took Kristina on a surprise birthday picnic at Balboa Park where he changed their lives together forever with a simple question in a grove of magnolia trees.
After 13 years of swim meets, mall trips (with and without parent chauffeurs), swim practice, ditching swim practice, a hand full of proms, wreaking havoc in target, hiding from their nosey sisters (Jen and Kelly), hanging out with said nosey sisters, many trips to Disneyland, a semester gallivanting around Europe, family vacations, trips to art museums, two graduations, they are very excited to begin their new lives together as husband and wife.
